The objective is to carry out an alarm verification, identify signs of a break-in or anomaly and apply the procedures agreed upon with the client. This service must be prepared in advance: access, keys, contacts and reporting procedure cannot be improvised at the time of the alarm.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens when an alarm goes off?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the client's setup, the signal is received by the system or the associated remote monitoring alarm receiving centre. Following the agreed checks, a request for assistance may be forwarded to the mobile response team. The officer receives the address, the area concerned and any available instructions, and then proceeds to the site in compliance with traffic and safety conditions.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The first step: observe the surroundings<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon arrival, the officer first examines the external environment. An open door, broken window, damaged lock, unusual vehicle, abnormal lighting or suspicious presence are important pieces of information. This observation prevents a rushed entry and makes it possible to adapt the response. In the event of manifest danger, the officer follows the escalation instructions and contacts the relevant services.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Internal control and doubt resolution<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the situation and instructions permit, the officer accesses the site using the means provided and checks the scheduled zones. They look for the possible cause of the activation: improperly closed access, activated detector, trace of intrusion, technical problem or other visible anomaly. The check follows a defined order so as not to neglect sensitive areas.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to do in the event of a discovered break-in?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If signs of a break-in are found, the officer does not take unnecessary risks. They secure the area as much as possible, raise the alarm according to procedure and preserve the scene. The client or contact person receives useful information. Decisions regarding temporary closing, lock replacement or the presence of a security guard are made in accordance with the agreed instructions.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Securing the building<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the alarm results from an improperly closed door or a simple fault, the security guard can re-secure the site within the limits of their assignment: closing an access point, reactivating the system if the procedure provides for it, and a final check. If the problem cannot be resolved, temporary monitoring or the intervention of a technical service provider may be necessary.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A report after each intervention<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report sets out the time of the request, arrival at the site, the checks carried out, the findings, the people contacted and the measures taken. Photographs may be included to supplement the observations where appropriate. This document helps the client to understand the incident and to rectify any access weaknesses or procedural shortcomings.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prep the service before the first bell<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A site information sheet must include the exact address, access routes, keys or badges, alarm operation, sensitive areas and priority contacts. It also specifies the limits of the mission and situations requiring a call. The information is checked regularly, particularly after a change of lock, tenant or manager.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why combine intervention with mobile patrols?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mobile patrols can detect an open door, unusual lighting or damage even before an alarm is triggered. They complement the response to an alarm and create a variable presence around the site.
